Tasks:
You are responsible for the technical roll-out of complex cyber security systems at internationally operating companies and corporations. You will support our sales team during the pre-sales phase by conducting technical workshops and proof-of-value projects, and later by designing and integrating cyber security systems.
As a central task, you will independently take on the conception and integration of systems for securing intellectual property in the areas of integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data. Your attention is focused on creating a holistic solution that provides the customer with the highest level of security for their company’s most valuable assets.
You always factor in scalability and availability during the design process to enable a sound basis for risk assessment.
You are as comfortable in a technical integration with representatives of the customer and their suppliers as you are in a technical discussion at the decision-making level. You have the fine sense on which level to act, you have the complete argumentative range between a technical deep-dive and a high-level presentation, and you convince with your well-founded explanations.
You ensure a smooth flow along the entire roll-out process and promote cooperative collaboration with representatives of the customer, its suppliers and colleagues from the team of other departments.
Qualifications:
- Successfully completed studies in the field of mathematics, computer science, software development, IT systems or in a comparable field
- High motivation, enthusiasm for new technologies as well as fun working in a team and with agile working methods
- Several years of professional experience in pre-sales, technical sales, integration, roll-out as well as knowledge of infrastructure, architecture and operations
- Many years of experience with cyber security systems from the areas of data leakage prevention, SIEM, IDS, system monitoring, encryption as well as cyber defense
- Broad knowledge of relational and distributed database systems as well as IoT technologies
- Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and an interest in machine learning and data science
- Design, integration and hands-on for writing security rules
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Excellent presentation skills
